Just a thought... In the open practice sessions, in the days prior to the Wed race; particularly ones open for recruitment:
What do you think of NOT having a fixed setup practice? We can pick up the setup we'll be using and practice with it and/or compare it against previous 60+ setups, against others we might have, etc. We could also share setups then and make comparisons.
(EDIT: I worded that badly, i meant to imply continuing with the practice sessions, just opting for open setups rather than fixed.)
Obviously, we're not necessarily going for the fastest setup available, but we could still compare stability and stuff. Wednesday it should be fixed 'cause by then we're going to use that for racing.
Please understand, i'm not complaining about our setups, to my mind they're excellent for me. I routinely set my best times with our 60+ setups and keep them for the regular series races. I just think it would be a good time to test and share sets.
Whaddya think?
The early sessions, especially the ones hosted by John Morgan have always been open. And I always post the official set in those sessions in case some have not downloaded it.
