Starting today (Homestead) and for the balance of the season the session starting time is being moved to 15:30 EDT (19:30 GMT). We will run a 30 minute practice, 5 minute qualifying, and the balance of 85 minutes will be race time. The longer races may require more than one pitstop, so you will want to check your fuel consumption. Starting next week (Pocono) the Monday oval practice is moving to noon EDT (16:00 GMT) Pro Mazda at NÜRBURGRING. We will run the Nurb Louis PMS1160Plus 1.1 set. The race will start at 14:55 EDT (18:55 GMT) The second session will launch later at 16:00 EDT (20:00 GMT) with a 30 minute practice and a 10 minute qualifying starting at 16:30 EDT (20:30 GMT). Well done guys, great team effort and I really enjoyed my first endurance event. I think we had more drivers then any other team in our split. Jose, Jay, John Morgan, Joel, Fred McIntosh, Mark Robertson and myself - 7 drivers took at least 1 turn at the wheel, finishing 7th (just seconds away from 6th) in the GTE class.

I think you did it Joel, at least I saw some. They were in folders but it works. versions 1.3 - 1.6

Hi Joel, as I was not around for the Bathurst event I need some tutoring in some things. Is there a place where I can find information that may help me? I know the iRacing forum for Tour and Special Events, is there something in that area that may help? Test sessions that may give me understanding in switching drivers, Spotting, procedures etc.? Where can I find the team car color or is that even necessary for me to have in trading paints? Everything is basically unfamiliar for me and very new as I have not done any of this before. Sorry for the questions but I am feeling out of my element here. If that is going to be a detriment I can bow out of participation and watch, listen and learn for another time. Thanks, Bill

I see both sets, I will remove the one and see if I can rename the other. Got it anyway, now to fine tune if I can. Looks like you somehow created a folder and the .sto file was buried in that. I copied the setup file to the root, deleted the folder and the other file so now only the Sebring one shows.... Thanks Joel! Joel, I am testing a way for us to do this. Click the More button on the top menu and select Setups and try to upload your file to my dropbox. If that is successful you should see it in the download area so users could get it here. The setup folder is restricted to members only. I will send you a private email so I can work on this with you and hopefully figure out the solution.

Joel, please post when a decision is solid on which car we will be using. I don't mind purchasing a car and I don't own any of the choices and would prefer to buy just one. Once decided upon I will begin to do some practice.

Glad you found this helpful Mark. At Mid-Ohio there are some tough corners and I think that 3 of them have the principle of coming over a rise (corners 2, 5 and 9) that will have an effect on what I am calling the car getting light. Some of the other corners do not have an elevation change but throttle plays a huge role in "sticking" the car. I don't feel very qualified to comment on these things but if you found it helpful perhaps others will as well. This weeks track is going to be a real challenge. For me turn 5 is the most difficult for throttle modulation, it can get you into trouble with to much at the wrong time. My goal is to have no off tracks caused by my own misadventure. Great challenge for us!

Following Ken's suggestion in this post, about people letting us know a little about themselves, we have set up a biography page. Only members can view it. Yesterday I met with Ken online and got to know him a little through discussion to some specific questions and just general chat. What a great experience that was for me. Very nice to get to know a fellow racer a little better. I will be posting the interview/bio on the site as soon as Ken approves the draft.
